Through the Education Professions pathway at CCHS, students have a modified course format. They spend part of their week in the CCHS classroom with Mrs. Roberts for direct instruction, and part of the week paired with a WCCS classroom teacher to put their knowledge into practice through field experiences. Our WCCS classroom teachers do an amazing job of mentoring these students as they learn about careers in education.

WCCS Families,
This message is going out to all WCCS families for informational purposes. This morning, a gas line was discovered to be leaking just south of the CCHS / ISMS / LTES campus. The fire department has responded to help ensure safety and to monitor air quality in the area and in our schools.
As a precautionary measure, the county has closed East 200 South until NIPSCO is able to repair the gas line. The south entrance to the campus will remain open, but travel between the entrance and highway 9 will be closed until repairs are completed.
There are no concerns about student safety, and we will continue to work closely with local officials to monitor the situation. All school operations will continue as normal.
CCHS students interested in human and social services have many options in our community to partner for career exploration experiences. We are grateful for the variety of opportunities for students to explore their areas of interest while continuing their education outside of the classroom.
