🚨 Congratulations to the Girls Track Team the 2024 NE8MS Conference Champions 🚨
Yesterday was Period 3's turn to participate in the 6th Grade Science Outdoor Action Day. Representatives from the state department of agriculture and county soil and water departments will be at ISMS running stations to help students see firsthand how human impact can be positive and negative on our ecosystems and give them tools to help change some of those negative impacts. Students are participating in chemical water testing, macroinvertebrate ID, seed germination and stratification, and native vs. invasive species stations. Be sure to check in with your 6th grader about their experiences in Science this week. We are learning a lot about the health of our streams and forest ecosystem.
8th Grade: Students interested in auditioning for the CCHS Show Choir for the 2024-25 school year need to sign up in the 8th grade office. Auditions will be on May 23 during related arts.

Here are the ILEARN spirit days for the second week of testing (April 22-26).
Last week 5th graders from Coesse, Mary Raber, and Northern Heights also visited ISMS to start the transition to middle school process. (Due to the rain, we don't have photos with the Northern Heights classes.)
ISMS will start ILEARN on Tuesday, April 16. We will test from 8:20-11:20 a.m. If students need more time, testing may be extended. We ask that you limit all appointments during this time as attendance is important during our testing window. Please make sure that your student eats a good breakfast each morning.
