WCCS is on an E-Learning day for Tuesday January 9, 2024
Last week the third graders went to the Arts United Center to enjoy the second half of the Nutcracker Ballet. The students got to watch the performances and meet the dancers. The dancers taught the students more about their costumes and workouts.
The third graders have been learning all about the Nutcracker in music class.
Our second and third graders performed A Dream About the Nutcracker.
Why should the Grinch grin? That's the question Coesse's second graders were answering in their persuasive writing this week.

On Monday, Coesse's fourth graders celebrated Indiana's 207th birthday as part of their social studies unit. They played Indiana bingo, decorated Indiana ornaments, tested their knowledge of the state by pinning the star on the state, and also ate cupcakes to celebrate!
A special thank you to the Komets for sending two guest readers to Coesse this week! We are looking forward to PTO's family fun night at the Komets game on Friday.

This month Mrs. Hinen has been coming into third grade to read to the kids. The students love hearing fun new books and reconnecting with Mrs. Hinen.
Thank you, Coesse students and families! We raised a grand total of $881.03 by students purchasing hands to create a turkey!
Congratulations to Miss Riecke's class for the highest donation amount. They won an ice cream party for their efforts.
On Friday, Coesse recognized our Quarter 1 fourth and fifth grade Honor Roll recipients and our Eagle P.R.I.D.E. award winners for the life skill of persistence. Keep up the good work!

All students and families are welcome to participate in parent teacher conferences.
