8th GRADE: Mr. Feichter, the choir director at CCHS, invites you to audition for the two Competitive Show Choirs on April 18 & 19.

Whitley County Consolidated Schools (WCCS) families have to opt in for transportation from WCCS for the 2023-2024 school year.
During registration, which opens today, parents/guardians will elect for students to ride the bus.
In the past, WCCS Transportation Department routed every student as a bus rider. WCCS knows 100 percent of students do not ride the bus for various reasons. For more accurate routes and clearer communication between guardians and bus drivers.
Guardians will opt in through Skyward during the registration process. As in the past, the guardian will select morning, afternoon or both transportation needs and indicate where the student is picked up and/or dropped off, which must be on a WCCS route.
Registration is open from April 10 to May 31, 2023. Contact the WCCS Central office with any questions at 260.244.5771.

Sixth Grade Eagle Students have been voluntarily writing notes, drawing pictures, and collecting mail for Honor Flight Northeast Indiana's Mail Call! Today, students brought in their mail and in each class period, the student who brought in the most was given an Honor Flight guardian shirt for their efforts. Mrs. Coons collects mail year-round for HFNEI's Mail Call, so if your family, team, youth group, etc. would like to donate notes, letters of gratitude, and/or pictures, it would be appreciated! Thank you to all students who donated today! Congratulations to: Keira Woodruff, Ares Arnold, Marissa Sheckler, Samantha Reynolds, and Liam Martin!

WCCS is looking for substitute teachers. The substitute leads the class when the teacher needs to be out of the classroom and engages with our students.
We believe our students are the greatest at WCCS. Apply to be a substitute to help build world-class results.

In 4 out of 5 school shootings, at least one other person had knowledge of the attacker’s plan but failed to report it. People who hurt themselves or others often show warning signs before they carry out an act of violence.
#SaySomethingWeek #SaySomethingSavesLives

To promote a safe school environment, we want our students, parents/guardians, staff and community to be aware of "See Something. Say Something."
Anyone in our WCCS community who hears or sees activity are encouraged to report it to a WCCS staff/faculty or on wccsonline.com. The tip line is anonymous.

Now more than ever, it’s essential to learn the critical warning signs of violence. At-risk people can show significant or sudden changes in behavior or personality. www.sandyhookpromise.org/warning-signs #SaySomethingWeek #SaySomethingSavesLives

This is the last week of the food drive. Help us reach our goal of 2,500 items. More information about needed items can be found at https://www.wccsonline.com/o/isms/article/1015920 .
