Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month is held each February to celebrate CTE and the achievements and accomplishments of technical programs and students across the country from K-12 through college and beyond.

To help connect area businesses to Whitley County high school students, Columbia City High School is hosting a College and Career Fair on Tuesday, March 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Students from Columbia City High School, Churubusco High School, and Whitko High School are invited to attend.
Area businesses are invited to reserve an 8 ft. space to promote their career and to share available summer or job opportunities with current and graduating students.
Reservations are accepted through Friday, March 10. Please visit https://forms.gle/jwdDW9GH1yTZwjax5 to reserve your spot!
All Skyward SMS 2.0 systems will be down beginning Friday, February 17th at 6:00 p.m. and continuing until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18th, while ISCorp is installing the February 2023 Release.
During this time, you should not be making payments via the eFunds site, either. Payments made while Skyward is offline will not be processed.

Congratulations, Bailey Shidler! This CCHS student was awarded the Marian University St. Mary Full Tuition Scholarship!
Bailey was one of 15 students awarded and more than 200 students applied. Congratulations!

Thank you to our community volunteers who conducted mock interviews this week with our students in the CCHS Freshman Academy! It was a great opportunity to practice employability skills and professional introductions.


This morning the Business, Arts and Communication (BAC) Academy community partners, teachers, and students gathered to share the good news and updates from the academies.
As student Noah shared, “there are so many applicable opportunities” from his participation through Business Professionals of America, which is the BAC Academy Career and Technical Service Organization (CTSO).

Alina H.'s artwork was selected as the finalist for banners by Morsches Park!
The Mayor's Office of Columbia City partnered with the CCHS Advanced 2D Class to design banners to be displayed on the poles out by the park.
