CCHS is happy to celebrate Indiana's Intern Day! With more than 100 interns in our community each semester, internships provide value for our students and our community businesses.
Students choose an individualized internship experience that pairs with their classwork and career goals with the help of our WCCS Talent Development Director, Mrs. Lori Heuer.
"My time management has improved, more efficient with nearly everything in my life, understanding kindness is SO valuable, shift of perspective for people with disabilities, more of a heart and CONFIDENCE to help people, and more," said Bekah, a CCHS intern for Parkview Whitley.

Whitley County Consolidated Schools Board of School Trustees approved an updated school calendar for the 2024-2025 year to reflect five additional professional development (or teacher only) days for our staff.
The additional staff-only days were added through a 1003 waiver approved by the State. Students attend 5 fewer days during the school year but still exceed state guidelines for the number of required instructional minutes for the school year.
The change in calendar provides WCCS staff professional development opportunities to advance district strategic plan pillars of Comprehensive Student Experience, Employee Experience and Organizational Excellence.
Find the calendar on the WCCS App or online at wccsonline.com.

Our staff at the CCHS Cafeteria recently received this note from a student : "Me and my friend were late to lunch and even though they already put everything up they still had smiles on their faces and were more than happy to give us lunch. They were so sweet and asked us what we wanted and she asked us if we wanted a brownie and we said yes, she took the biggest ones out of the bottom.. .and gave them to us. It was so sweet she took the time to do that and that they weren't rude or upset or anything. I think about their kindness every day." Way to serve and care for our students ladies!
