It's National School Breakfast Week! Join us in celebrating the importance of a nutritious breakfast for our students. Today our Food Service Director visited Northern Heights Elementary to pass out samples of tomorrow's breakfast. The twisted cinnamon cheese-stuffed blueberry breadstick received an overwhelming thumbs up from the students! Make sure to stop by the cafeteria tomorrow morning to enjoy a delicious and nutritious treat!

Alina is interning with Custom Home Designs. She is getting hands-on experience with programs she will use at Ball State University Architecture Program.

Intern Spotlights | Seniors Evyn and Brady observe and practice their professions during their internships with Aspire Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa and at Indian Springs Middle School.
Evyn, at Aspire Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa, has the opportunity to observe surgeries, minimally invasive office procedures, and laser procedures.
Brady is at ISMS with Science teacher, Mrs. Brandy Smith. He created a bracket for the 2024 March Mammal Madness, which was developed at Arizona State University. Mammal Madness is a ‘Who Would Win’ when two animals encounter each other in an absurdly complex and nerdy way in a simulated tournament within a structured game universe.”
Mrs. Smith says “Thanks so much for making this program possible.”

Wednesday, Mar 20, at 6 p.m. we are hosting an Early Awareness/College Prep presentation in the CCHS Performing Arts Center.
This is for grades 9-11.
This semester, CCHS continues to connect seniors in work-based learning experiences to fit individual student's needs.
Emma interns at Conley & Koontz Equine Hospital and her mentor had this to say: “Emma has been a pleasure to have at the clinic! She is genuinely excited about her future profession and it shows in her work," Dr. Kristi Gran.
Emily rotates through the Whitley County Sheriff's Department and is pictured here working Dispatch.

During the monthly board meeting, we acknowledged Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month. 98% of WCCS students in grades 8-12 are enrolled in a CTE course or program. We host more than 24 programs and continue to personalize experiences for students to meet their needs for their plans.
