Message from Chancellor_Ivy Tech

With summer approaching fast, I know you're ready for a time to slow down and enjoy the warm weather. While it's a great time for a break, there's an opportunity that I encourage you to share with your students.

Ivy Tech Community College offers a unique program during the summer that allows students in grades 9 through 12 to take college courses for free. They don't even have to pay for textbooks. The credits they earn can transfer to any Indiana 4-year public university, and they can work toward a certificate or degree at Ivy Tech. Most notably, this can help them save money in college and possibly allow them to graduate sooner.

This is a very valuable opportunity, and we're trying to spread the word. Those interested can learn more and sign up for the program by visiting IvyTech.edu/freeclasses.

 Respectfully,

Dr. Kim Barnett-Johnson
Chancellor, Ivy Tech Fort Wayne & Warsaw
