Turkey Run Penny Wars kicks off November 2 through November 13 to help provide Thanksgiving meals for Whitley County families. Students can add pennies and dollars to their grade’s turkey for positive points, or drop silver coins into rival grades’ turkeys to deduct points. S end your spare change to the grade-level offices before school, between classes, or after school to help your grade take the crown!

In the latest lunch league showdown, our 8th graders took on the staff in kickball and came out on top. The staff say they “let them win.” The scoreboard says otherwise.

Our 6th graders are raising funds for a field trip to the Grissom Air Museum on May 12th!
Help us get there by joining the Little Caesars fundraiser, running now through November 30. Every order supports our 6th grade field trip, and it’s a great way to stock up on pizza for the holidays!

Thank you for supporting our students.

Yesterday, our staff came together wearing special shirts provided by the Community Foundation of Whitley County. The shirts carry a simple but powerful message: You Are Enough.
Our staff spends their days teaching, guiding, caring for, feeding, transporting, and encouraging our students. We were honored to wear these shirts as a visible reminder that in our community, people matter, people are valued, and no one has to face a difficult moment alone.
The message isn’t just for students. It’s for teachers, parents, friends, co-workers, and even the stranger standing right behind us. 🦅
A heartfelt thank you to the Community Foundation of Whitley County for supporting our school family and for helping start important conversations about mental health and reaching out when someone is struggling.
Take a moment today to notice someone and remind them they matter.

We’re off to a great start to the school year! Our food service teams work hard each day to provide our students with breakfast and lunch to help fuel them for learning, growing, and making the most of their school day.
It’s hard to believe we’re already more than halfway through September! Northern Heights recently shared photos of a couple of the lunches served this week, and we’re happy to showcase the great work happening behind the scenes.
A BIG thank-you to all of our dedicated food service staff for their commitment to providing nutritious meals and keeping our students fueled throughout the day.
