Internship Highlights | Kaylyn applies her child development and education knowledge through her internship with the Whitley County YMCA afterschool program.
Trinity has learned a great deal about logistics and inventory accuracy through her internship with Sailrite.



The CCHS Academic Teams are NE8 Conference Champions for the second year.
Third place finishes in English and Science. Second in History and First in Fine Arts and Math! The combined efforts of the five teams led to the lowest and winning team total.

Internship Highlights | Sam's internship with Fort Wayne Metals allows him to put his welding knowledge and certifications into practice.
Jonathan leads a staff of 11 when live-streaming athletic events for CCHS. His internship as manager for the student-run station allows him many leadership experiences.



Internship Highlights | Mathew applies his sheet metal welding skills and certifications through his internship with ETA Engineering.
Gage continues to expand his knowledge and experience about Diesel engines and repair through his internship with Sheets Diesel Performance.



Internship Highlights | Natalie continues her medical journey with the Whitley County Health Department and Immunization Clinic.
Hayden applies her knowledge and experience from the Education Professions program through her internship with Miss Graham's kindergarten at Coesse.



CCHS Career and College Fair business reservations are due March 10.

Student Katie is the perfect example of how internships can help students prepare. Katie has tried several occupations during her high school career and found she enjoys creative outlets through her internship at Bravo Floral and Gifts.
Katie is studying interior design at Purdue Fort Wayne this coming fall.


Columbia City FFA is partnering with Soil and Water District to host First Grade Ag Day for all of the county’s first graders. Our FFA members and alumni supply all of the animals for the experience and members serve as speakers and group leaders.

Walgreens in Columbia City has provided a great internship experience for Jordan to improve his customer service and communication skills.
Dominic has benefited through an internship at Take 5.



Senior students can gain hands-on field experience through their Work Based Learning experiences to match the classes they pursued in high school to prepare them for their futures.
William explores career options at Impact CNC and Cora's internship with The Kitchen & Co. has allowed her to explore her interests in event planning further.

CCHS hosted community members and businesses this morning for the Academy Breakfast. All three career academies combine once a year to share student success and celebrate the programming of CCHS.
Students and teachers shared how business partnerships continue to develop and strength our abilities.

The CCHS Career and College Fair is on March 21.
Area businesses are invited to reserve an 8ft space to promote their career and to share summer or job opportunities to current and graduating students.
Whitko and Churubusco students have also been invited to the Career Fair.
