An enormous "thank you" goes out to all of the sixth-grade students who have been writing, coloring, and collecting mail for Honor Flight's Mail Call over the last several weeks! Many students wrote dozens and dozens of notes of gratitude, and quite a few also collected colored pictures from itty-bitty kids as young as five years old, all the way up to parents and grandparents who helped write notes. Thank you, ISMS Eagles, for sharing your gratitude, compassion, and devotion to our heroes.
Together, we collected over 2,558 pieces of mail this week!
As summertime draws near, if your family, preschool, daycare, church youth group, 4-H group, dance group, or any other kind of group is willing to help collect colored patriotic pictures and/or notes of gratitude, please help our cause! You can have students turn in any mail for Honor Flight Northeast Indiana's Mail Call to Mrs. Coons in August, or you can email her at coonsom@wccsonline.com to arrange a summertime pickup or drop off of large quantities of mail.
