CCHS JAG Students Compete

Recently, six Columbia City High School students competed at the Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) Career Development Conference.

This was Columbia City's first time competing at the annual event. Triceson Bender placed third in Public Speaking and Cassidy Widmann placed third in Financial Literacy.

Students from the region compete against each other in the following events: Public Speaking, Entrepreneurship Plan, Project Based Learning, Writing Skills, Career Presentation, Creative Solutions, Critical Thinking, Employability Skills, and Financial Literacy with prepared projects.

Keely Wickliffe, CCHS JAG Specialist, is the class instructor and helped prepare students for the event.

Congratulations, eagles!
