American Dream: Episode 2
American Dream: Episode 1
Welcome to Whitley County Consolidated Schools
Here we embody small-town values with world-class results. Where you’ll find some of the brightest and most motivated students you’ll ever meet. The kids who attend WCCS have an outstanding track record for academic excellence, athletic competition, community awareness and volunteerism. The teachers, administration and staff have a dedicated work ethic and are devoted to seeing every child succeed. With an integrated preschool, four elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and our New Tech academy, the school corporation is the heartbeat of the community, and everything we do here is with one common goal: to see children succeed. Come see for yourself. We have a lot to be proud of at WCCS.
Registration for existing WCCS students will take place via Skyward Family Access beginning August 2, 2021.
School Office will open during regular hours beginning August 2, 2021.
Parents that must speak with the school nurse or who wish to pay in person should visit the school during the second week of August. Appointments may be made to assure that people are available.
Free/Reduced Application will not be available until Fall Registration Window. This will no longer be part of registration. Free/Reduced applications will be accessible under food service in Family Access.
Families must register by August 10, 2021 in order to guarantee transportation services the first week of school. If registration occurs after 8/10 and transportation has been added, transportation or the driver will contact families.
Device Protection Plan
Students will have the option to enroll in a Device Protection Plan for the 2020-2021 school year. The optional Device Protection Plan costs $20. Participation in the plan protects school-issued student Chromebooks and iPads against ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, FIRE, FLOOD, NATURAL DISASTERS, POWER SURGE, VANDALISM, MECHANICAL FAILURE and MANUFACTURER DEFECTS. This plan will provide full replacement cost coverage (does not include chargers or cases) and will protect devices on and off school grounds. The plan is limited to three claims. Parents will be responsible for all costs related to incidents beyond the third claim. The plan is also transferable to a replacement unit. All repairs regardless of participation in the Device Protection Plan must be handled by the WCCS Technology Department.
