RELEASE FOR RENTAL OF SCHOOL FACILITIES
By submitting a rental request form, you are acknowledging you have the authority to release Whitley County Consolidated Schools from all claims.
Submitter does hereby release and discharge the Whitley County Consolidated Schools from any and all claims, of any kind or character, which the submitter/organization have, or might have, against them on account of any damage, losses or injuries to the person or property of myself, my children, or any other person on or about the school facilities or by reason of our use of these premises.
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR USE OF FACILITIES
Users must take reasonable steps to ensure orderly behavior and will be responsible for paying all damage associated with their use of the facility or equipment.
The Corporation reserves the right to request payment of estimated fees in advance.
Use of tobacco is prohibited.
Alcoholic beverages and controlled substances will not be permitted on Corporation property at any time.
Gambling of any kind is prohibited.
Decorations must be fireproof and are to be erected and taken down in a manner not destructive to Corporation property. Decorations are subject to the approval of the building administrators. The use of open flame, such as candles, is prohibited.
Requests for Corporation-owned equipment are not included. Costs shall be charged based upon request and type of equipment.
An approved class utilizing the Internet system will require an Acceptable Use Policy Agreement to be signed by participants.
The use of any materials on floors or other parts of the building is strictly prohibited without specific approval in writing from the building administrator.
Buildings will normally be open 1-hour prior to the activity and for 1-hour after its scheduled end, unless other arrangements are requested on the application and approved.
Use during the summer vacation, on holidays, or during other vacation periods shall not conflict with building cleaning and renovating programs and will depend upon the availability of building service personnel for supervision.
A school custodian shall be on duty whenever a facility is being used. The custodian will render custodian assistance in handling furniture and equipment and will be responsible for seeing that the facilities are left in good condition after the activity is completed. The custodian's pay, including clean-up time, will be added to the rental fee. Food service personnel shall be required, in addition, when kitchen facilities are used.
