I began playing drums in the 6th grade at DeKalb Middle School. I continued that path through high school where I got involved in marching band, indoor Drumline, jazz band, pep band, and I even played the drums for DeKalb High School’s musicals my Junior and Senior year. In marching band/winter Drumline, I played bass drum my 8th grade year, and then switched to snare drum for all 4 years of high school.

I began teaching the Columbia City Marching Eagles Drumline in the 2018 marching band season. I decided to continue teaching because of my passion for the activity and I love passing on all of my knowledge to others.

I am currently a part of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants Drumline, and hope to continue doing so next season. I also work for the Noble County Sheriff Department as a confinement Officer. I hope to become a Sheriff’s deputy there one day.
