Welcome to Indian Springs Middle School
Here, we're dedicated to education through inquiry and the development of young people who will become responsible and respectful citizens. We offer several STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities for students and integrate important life skills in all courses of study. The staff at Indian Springs Middle School are specially trained for both special education and high ability learners, providing education experiences for all students. The extracurricular and athletic programs at ISMS compete yearly at the state level and the arts program has been nationally recognized. As the only middle school at WCCS, Indian Springs Middle School integrates the four elementary schools into one cohesive learning community where students are 'teamed' with teachers for an entire year of study.
STUDENT DEVICES: All 6th grade parents and new 7th and 8th grade parents must attend a meeting about Chromebooks before your child can receive the device. If you attended the 6th grade parent meeting in May, then you already received this information and do not have to attend again.
There are several opportunities for parents to hear this information on Wednesday, August 9: 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, 3:00 p.m., or 5:30 p.m. We will meet at the back of the media center which is next to the reception desk. This presentation should take less than 30 minutes. Students will be shown a presentation that is geared for them during the first week of school, and then they will receive their Chromebooks.
All presentations will start on time. If you cannot make the time, we respectfully ask you to make plans to attend a different session.
REGISTRATION: Registration for existing WCCS students will take place via Harmony Family Access beginning August 1, 2017. Students new to WCCS will need to enroll in person at their school office.
School Office will open during regular hours beginning August 1, 2017. On Wednesday, August 9, 2017, schools will operate extended hours from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Parents that must speak with the school nurse or who wish to pay in person should visit the school during the second week of August.
