Welcome to Indian Springs Middle School

  • Here, we're dedicated to education through inquiry and the development of young people who will become responsible and respectful citizens. We offer several STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities for students and integrate important life skills in all courses of study. The staff at Indian Springs Middle School are specially trained for both special education and high ability learners, providing education experiences for all students. The extracurricular and athletic programs at ISMS compete yearly at the state level and the arts program has been nationally recognized. As the only middle school at WCCS, Indian Springs Middle School integrates the four elementary schools into one cohesive learning community where students are 'teamed' with teachers for an entire year of study.

Announcements

  • Parenting in the 21st Century is not an easy task.  Students today are constantly bombarded with information that may, or may not be factual.  Their lives are on display 24/7 through social media, and they have no shortage of detrimental role models when it comes to appropriate online behavior.  Every day, a politician, sports figure, or celebrity sparks controversy and career destruction with an obnoxious tweet, a scandalous text, or an embarrassing photo posted online.  As parents and educators, we must work together to provide our children with the tools and strategies necessary to navigate this ever changing landscape.  Please make plans to join us for our first meeting of Parent University.  We will discuss parenting strategies, potential harmful apps that your children may be using, and we will hear from legal experts about the ramifications of inappropriate decisions in the digital world.  This event promises to be an eye opening and thought provoking evening that you won’t want to miss.
