Welcome to Eagle Tech Academy
Founded as a member of the New Tech Network, students at ETA find success through small-group interactions and project based learning that develop character, integrity and compassion for others. The focus at Eagle Tech Academy is on creating learning experiences for students—not just content knowledge, but skills that are critical for future success. Students at ETA experience real-world learning opportunities, facilitated by highly qualified teachers and influenced by regional businesses and community partners. A well-rounded program, students can take part in several general studies courses, as well as extracurricular and athletic activities offered at CCHS. At Eagle Tech, we are committed to a collaborative, meaningful education experiences.
Parenting in the 21st Century is not an easy task. Students today are constantly bombarded with information that may, or may not be factual. Their lives are on display 24/7 through social media, and they have no shortage of detrimental role models when it comes to appropriate online behavior. Every day, a politician, sports figure, or celebrity sparks controversy and career destruction with an obnoxious tweet, a scandalous text, or an embarrassing photo posted online. As parents and educators, we must work together to provide our children with the tools and strategies necessary to navigate this ever changing landscape. Please make plans to join us for our first meeting of Parent University. We will discuss parenting strategies, potential harmful apps that your children may be using, and we will hear from legal experts about the ramifications of inappropriate decisions in the digital world. This event promises to be an eye opening and thought provoking evening that you won’t want to miss.
