The Dale Pence Library Media Center is managed by a full-time Library Media Specialist, and one assistant. A flexible schedule and open access allows us to co-plan and co-teach lessons which integrate technology and information literacy with the curriculum.

The Dale Pence Library Media Center offers students the opportunity to participate in the Eliot Rosewater Indiana High School Book Award. Several copies of each of the 20 nominated titles are displayed near the circulation desk. Mrs. Bandelier gives booktalks to encourage students to read the titles and participate in the voting.
Copies of the American Library Association's Outstanding Books for the College Bound lists are also available at the circulation desk and in English classrooms. Teachers are encouraged to promote these books to their students.
Popular fiction titles and new books are also promoted through the scrolling news monitors throughout the school. A rotating display accents new books with themes of particular interest to students, such as acceptance, popularity, cyberspace, relationships, and religion.
