Welcome to Coesse Elementary School

  • We focus on the development of the whole child as a learner, both in the classroom and in the world outside. We’re a close-knit staff and community with tremendous high parent involvement and a low teacher-to-student ratio. Our students score well, and often above their peers on all standardized tests, including ISTEP and IREAD. Our unique Student Ambassador program builds student leadership through life skills, service and project-based learning opportunities.

  • eLearning Days

Whitley County Consolidated Schools is pleased to announce that we have been approved by the Indiana Department of Education to utilize eLearning Days when school would otherwise be closed due to inclement weather.  The district’s eLearning days are an extension of our vision to prepare our students to be “Ready for Tomorrow.”  In addition to providing our students with skills and experiences in a blended learning environment, eLearning days also enable us to maintain continuity in student learning and reduce the need for make-up days tagged onto the end of the school year.  Please explore the resources provided, as well as the list of frequently asked questions.  If you have any remaining questions, feel free to contact your child’s principal and we will be happy to answer any of your questions.
