Welcome to Indian Springs Middle School

  • Here, we're dedicated to education through inquiry and the development of young people who will become responsible and respectful citizens. We offer several STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities for students and integrate important life skills in all courses of study. The staff at Indian Springs Middle School are specially trained for both special education and high ability learners, providing education experiences for all students. The extracurricular and athletic programs at ISMS compete yearly at the state level and the arts program has been nationally recognized. As the only middle school at WCCS, Indian Springs Middle School integrates the four elementary schools into one cohesive learning community where students are 'teamed' with teachers for an entire year of study.

Announcements

  • SPORTS PHYSICALS: Indian Springs will be honoring the waiver provided by the IHSAA with regards to physicals for the 2020-2021 school year.  If a student had a physical on file (at ISMS) for the 2019-2020 school year, that same physical will be valid for the 2020-2021 school year.  However, an updated Health History must be completed and on file prior to the first day of practice.

If your child did not participate in athletics last year, or if you have incoming 6th graders at home, a physical will still be necessary to participate in the 2020-2021 athletics programs.

  • Device Protection Plan

Students will have the option to enroll in a Device Protection Plan for the 2019-2020 school year.  The optional Device Protection Plan costs $20.  Participation in the plan protects school-issued student Chromebooks against ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, FIRE, FLOOD, NATURAL DISASTERS, POWER SURGE, VANDALISM, MECHANICAL FAILURE and MANUFACTURER DEFECTS. This plan will provide full replacement cost coverage (does not include chargers or cases) and will protect devices on and off school grounds.  The plan is limited to three claims.  Parents will be responsible for all costs related to incidents beyond the third claim.  The plan is also transferable to a replacement unit. All repairs regardless of participation in the Device Protection Plan must be handled by the WCCS Technology Department.
