Personal Information:

I am in my seventeenth year in WCCS and my thirty-fourth year in education. Before moving to the Assistant to the Superintendent role in January of 2004 I was a building level administrator for the better part of nineteen years. In my career I have taught second grade, fourth grade, a combined third, fourth, and fifth grade, seventh, eighth and freshmen English and Reading. I also have worked with summer gifted writing and remedial programs. I also worked in an evening program with high school dropouts for nine years as well as being a resource teacher for up to three K-5 buildings. My wife and I have seven children and five grandchildren between us. The guiding principal in my job is and always has been, "What is Best for Kids".
