Our Schools
Whitley County Consolidated School Corporation consists of a high school, middle school, four elementary schools, and the Marshall Community Center.
- Columbia City High School is located at 600 North Whitley Street in Columbia City Indiana. Grades 9-12 are housed in 180,000 square feet in a building that was built in 1958. Additions and renovations have been made to this facility in 1964, 1968, 1969, 1978, 1984, and 2001. There are 63 acres on the campus, including an Outdoor Nature Lab.
- Indian Springs Middle School is located 1692 South, State Road 9. Grades 6-8 are housed in 240,305 square feet in a facility that was built in 1996. The school offers a "school within a school" concept.
- Marshall Community Center houses the WCCS administrative offices and numerous community organizations. Every effort was made to have "one stop shopping" for those community services within the area of human resources. Training facilities for WCCS personnel and community members are available.
- Coesse Elementary school houses grades K-5 on 29.5 acres. Located 2250 South, 500 East on U.S. 30, east of Columbia City, Coesse was designated to receive extensive remodeling. Completion of this project will be by the fall of 2004.
- Mary Raber Elementary School was constructed in 1951 and has experienced several renovation projects. The latest renovation is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2004. Mary Raber is located with the city limits of Columbia City at 700 East Jackson Street.
- Northern Heights Elementary School was constructed in 1999 and is located north of Columbia City on U.S. 109. This modern facility houses 550 students within 78,452 square feet on 32.8 acres.
- Little Turtle Elementary School was constructed in 2004 opening on August 17, 2004. This K-5 facility is located at 1710 South, State Road 9. This very modern facility houses 450 students.
