Weather Delays

The school delay process has been changed! For the 2012-2013 school year, WCCS Administration will announce a two-hour delay OR a three-hour delay based on the current weather conditions. This year, a two-hour delay may be changed to a three-hour delay if poor weather conditions persist.

The automatic dialer will call families regarding the designated delay.

2-hour Delay
School starts at 10:15 a.m.

3-hour Delay
School starts at 11:15 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.

A decision regarding delays/cancellations is usually made by 6:30 a.m.

Please do not call Central Office or the radio and television stations directly as it ties up telephone lines.

Professional Development Delays

During the 2012-13 school year, we will have six 45-minute scheduled delays throughout
the year.

45-minute Delay
School starts at 9:00 a.m.

Breakfast on Delay Days

• When ISMS observes a 45-minute delay, breakfast WILL BE served to those students eating breakfast that day.
• When I.S.M.S. is on a 2-hour or 3-hour delay due to weather, breakfast WILL NOT be served that day.
