Welcome to Indian Springs Middle School

  • Here, we're dedicated to education through inquiry and the development of young people who will become responsible and respectful citizens. We offer several STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities for students and integrate important life skills in all courses of study. The staff at Indian Springs Middle School are specially trained for both special education and high ability learners, providing education experiences for all students. The extracurricular and athletic programs at ISMS compete yearly at the state level and the arts program has been nationally recognized. As the only middle school at WCCS, Indian Springs Middle School integrates the four elementary schools into one cohesive learning community where students are 'teamed' with teachers for an entire year of study.

  • SPRING SPORTS: Anyone interested in signing up for golf, soccer, track or the spring musical can do so in the 6th grade office the week of February 27th. Even if the office is closed, the sign ups and information papers will be on the table. Make sure you have a physical turned into Mr. Zeigler before March 13th. You may turn those into the 6th grade office as well.

  • STUDENT PICK UP: With the onset of icy wintery weather, our first priority is student safety. We need your support in following the school procedure for picking up students after school. Please follow the green line along our east and south student sidewalk. Students may enter the car at any point on the sidewalk. Do not encourage your child to walk through the parking lot. If the line is long, you are more than welcome to wait in the lot and join the line later. Thank you for your assistance in making our campus a safe environment for our students.
