Philosophy
The philosophy of the Whitley County Consolidated Schools is to meet the unique educational needs of each student. By providing information and fostering the development of skills across the cognitive and affective areas, students can become more effective and intellectual, creative and specific academic abilities, require differentiated programs. To meet the needs of these gifted students, home and school must unite to encourage and nurture the development of creativity, higher level thinking skills, and research skills with experiences and materials that go beyond the regular curriculum.
