- Yearbook. Check with Mrs. Keener, room 48, to order your 2007-08 Columbian. Also, "Senior
Baby Ads" for the yearbook are due to Mrs. Keener by January 16.
- E Transcript. Go online to the CCHS homepage, click on Guidance, and follow the link for instructions as to how to register for"e Transcript", the free way to have your transcripts sent to most colleges and universities. http://wccs.k12.in.us/cchs/depts/guid/index.html
- Scholarships. Information can be accessed through the CCHS website. Click on Guidance, and then click on Scholarships. Also, hard copies can be found in the "Scholarship" drawer in the Main Office, as they become available.
- FAFSA Information Meeting. Students and parents are invited to a free college Financial Aid Workshop. The meeting will be held in the Auditorium, January 16.The program begins at 6:30 pm with Gretchen Bailey, a Financial Aid Officer from Grace College, presenting detailed explanations regarding the completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form. General information about grant, scholarship, and loan opportunities will also be available. Juniors and their parents are also welcome to attend, if they are interested in learning about the college financial aid process. If there is inclement weather causing the cancellation of the January 16th meeting, a make-up date is set for Monday, January 28, 2008. If you have any questions, please call the high school, 244-6136.
- Book Fees and Library Fines. This is just a reminder that you must have your book fees and library fines taken care of before graduation. See Mrs. Brunner, Bookstore Manager, for outstanding book fees and Mrs. Robinson, Library, for library fines information.
- SAT & ACT. Have you registered for or taken these tests? Most colleges/universities require the results of one of these tests on your application to their school. Information about registering, test sites, and dates can be found in the Main Office.
- School in Session. Because of December snows, our first two Make-up Days will be "school in session" days.

calendar is updated as events are added or changed. It includes athletics and facility events at CCHS.
- Midterm Student led Parent Teacher Conferences. January 17 you are encouraged to make appointments with your student's teachers, 3:30 - 5:20 pm. This is the opportunity for you to see
that your student is definitely on track for graduation. ALL Parents are welcome to make
appointments with teachers that evening. If that does not work out for you, please know that you
are always welcome and encouraged to contact teachers/Guidance Counselors for information on
your student's progress.
- Right to Vote. As you are aware, eighteen year olds have the "Right to Vote". To help you make informed decisions, you have the responsibility to collect information before you vote. With that
in mind, you are invited to attend the "Public Forum on the proposed new CCHS" to be held in the Auditorium at CCHS on January 23, 7:00 pm.
