Scholarships are competitive, widely available, and another source of college funding. It does require the most effort, but once you've mastered it, it can be another source of college funding. Every scholarship is different. So you must approach each scholarship application and/or interview accordingly. Students please start “early” by researching scholarships and the deadlines. Make a reference folder for each scholarship; get involved in extra-curricular activities and community service projects, and “neatness” of the application does count!
