You’ve found us!

Some of you may have never checked out the show choir website before, but here it is. Make sure you visit often and check over the calendar of events. It changes as we add or delete performance opportunities. It’s important that you know what is going on in the lives of our show choir kids.

Currently, we are hosting auditions for the 2014 City Show Choirs at CCHS. City Lights and City Heat will soon have new rosters to publish for our future groups. Good luck to all who participate.

May 7th is an important date for all show choir members and parents. This is for EVERYONE—new and veteran members and parents. The meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. at CCHS. Follow the signs when you arrive.

SHOW AND COMPETITION CALENDAR FOR 2013

JANUARY, 2013

January 17, Thursday— 8:00 p.m. Parent show. Parents, family, friends and public are welcome to preview City Lights and City Heat competition shows.

January 19, Saturday—East Side High School Show Choir Contest/CANCELLED

January 26, Saturday—All students participate in Regional ISSMA SOLO AND SMALL ENSEMBLE CONTEST. This is not a show choir contest. School bus transportation will be provided. We will leave at 7:30 a.m., return by 5:00 p.m.

FEBRUARY

February 2, Saturday: Northrop High School

February 9, Saturday: DeKalb High School (This is an ISSMA qualifying event)

Friday, February 15—ISMS Middle School Contest—we will not perform but we will help

February 16, Saturday: State ISSMA Solo vocal and small ensemble Perry Meridian High School - Indianapolis – for all who received gold medals at ISSMA REGIONAL COMPETITION IN DIVISION 1 –school bus transportation will be provided

February 23, Saturday: & Huntington North High School
