BEFORE YOU ACCESS HARMONY FOR THE FIRST TIME, you will need to download an SSL certificate for security purposes. To do this:

Windows XP

1. Click: SSL Certificate
2. You will receive a message saying that you have chosen to download a file--would you like to open it or save it to your disk--Choose Open.
3. A box will open with a button at the bottom that says,"Install Certificate". Click this button.
4. An Import Wizard will launch. Click "Next" two times, then click "Finish".
5. You will then be asked if you want this information added to your root store--click "Yes".
6. Then click Okay.

Windows Vista/Windows 7

1. Click:  SSL Certificate
2. You will receive a message saying that you have chosen to download a file--would you like to open it or save it to your disk--Choose Open.
3. You may receive a security message stating that, "A website wants to open content using this program on your computer"; click Allow
4. A box will open with a button at the bottom that says,"Install Certificate". Click this button.
5. An Import Wizard will launch. Click "Next".
6. Select "Place all certificates in the following store"
7. Click the Browse button
8. Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities
9. Click OK
10. Click Next
11. Click Finish
12. You may now see a message stating, "You are about to install a certificate..."; click Yes
13. On the Certificate Import Wizard, click OK
14. Click OK to close the Certificate dialog box.

Once this is complete and the download was successful, you must close your web browser and re-open it so it will use the new information. THIS PROCESS IS NECESSARY ONLY ONCE.

Harmony allows parents to access important information about their student's performance, homework, and more in real-time. When parents login to Harmony they can rest assured that they are seeing the latest information entered into teacher grade books. As soon as a grade is entered, or an assignment is created, or a student is marked as tardy, parents will be able to see that information.

Items parents will see:

• Assignment Summary
• Messages
• Homework Agenda
• Progress Report - Generate a report of your student's current progress.
• Discipline Report - Stay on top of behavior issues.
• School Calendar - See a calendar for your student's specific building.

  Note:  Logins are case-sensative.
